The dome around Endeavor was erected to keep the Dust Storms and erratic weather patterns at bay. For as long as Endeavor has stood, it has worked flawlessly. It is in constant repair as it surely massive, and many thousands of people are constantly maintaining it.

Industry & Trade

Foundation Produces literally everything a Maklan would need save for food. It pumps water from the ground, harvests minerals, and synthesizes new materials from Flux. The city provides these things to all the colonies, and even now is not using but ten percent of its full capacity.

Infrastructure

Foundation is a large factory, with thousands of individuals that all serve as maintenance for the factories. It extracts resources from the planet and produces goods that the rest of the planet need. The mechanisms have no environmental impact, as any waste is recycled through the Maverick. Foundation consumes so much power, it received the first Mature Warp Star available, and was forced to open its eye to 42% of its capacity.
The City of Foundation is a Labyrinthian network of infrastructure made to power the Megafactories that make up the city. From giant water pipes, to power conduits. Foundation is the only settlement not to grow its own food supply.
