Basic Information

Anatomy

Like lizards, with hardened heads for ramming into things. Very sharp teeth as well. Their skin is like that of a salamander, exept more colourful. Their blood is mildly poisonus. They stand on their hind-legs, at around 7-feet tall on average. Their forelegs have dexturous hands at the ends.

Genetics and Reproduction

The male has sex with the female, the female then lays eggs in a warm body of water. After a few days, little tadpole creatures emerge.

Growth Rate & Stages

When they reach sexual maturity, their foreheads turn blue, a colour otherwise absent from their colourful skin.

Ecology and Habitats

hot climate, but not too hot. Medium-moist air temp. Fair to exelent plant growth.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Omnivours. They eat plants, and also eat verious small other creatures. They tend to form hunting parties of 5ish, gathering parties of 7ish. They bring their spoils back to their clan, to store and consume.

Biological Cycle

During the cold season, their skin developes thick scales, to trap heat within their bodies. This is shedded in the spring.

Social Structure

They live in villiges of 50ish, led by a Matriarch elder. The villige is split into three groups: The hunters, the gatherers, and the caretakers. The creatures are assigned their positions by the Matriarch elder when they reach sexual maturity.

Average Intelligence

hunter-gatherer. They can also use simple tools, such as spears and rocks. They can build small brick huts as well, out of the mud they gather.
