Planet Hex

A strange eyeball planet that is tidally locked to the sun. The center of the light hemisphere has a large scorching hot desert stuck in eternal daytime summer, moving further away from the center the land begins to cool allowing for a more temperate climate with an endless sunset or sunrise, the life is diverse and strange. On the dark hemisphere lies a frozen wasteland trapped in eternal winter night. Humanoid society is well established on this planet, but many find it too strange to stay.
