Nether

Nether is a para classical element that represents corruption, demonism, desire and rebellion. Nether can be fused from Air and Chaos where Air embodies flowing and Chaos twists it into corruption.

Manifestation

Essence

Nether is usually used for harm rather than good, due to its very nature. It can be used to manipulate the minds of people by pulling on their desires and it can harass the spirit, breaking it and in turn causing physical harm to the body. Nether can be used for the benefit of others however as it can be used for healing by overloading the mind and spirit's desire to survive, this can quickly wear out a spirit however so rest is required. Nether can also be good for therapy, as it can be used to empower good desires and bolster willpower, the inverse can also be done however. Nether is also very good at and commonly used for necromancy as it can force a spirit into a corpse in order to raise it as an undead servant, then the desires of the spirit can be manipulated in order to control it.

Enchanting

Nether can be enchanted into armor for protection against spiritual attacks as well as energy based attacks by bolstering the wearer's spirit aura. Nether can also grant healing for the wearer but this can be tiring for their spirit. Nether enchanted weapons are often used to tear into the spirit of enemies causing direct damage as well as amplifying any pain they feel. Nether weapons can also affect the mind of enemies putting them into a frenzy, this can be dangerous as it can raise their fighting willpower but it also makes them incredibly reckless which can usually become their downfall. Some people are daring and turn the rage onto themselves for deadly berserker armor.

Localization

Nether is a well known and feared element often seen as evil even though it does have it's beneficial sides. Many cultures refer to it by other names such as Unholy, Demonic, Necro and Corruption. Many cultures also strongly outlaw this element.

Reteric, Vaultar

Nether is outlawed in Reteric as an incredibly evil magic, any mages caught learning it are immediately executed. To disguise the existence of Chaos and its related elements to the general public, Nether is thrown in with Shadow as dark evil magic where it is presented as a perversion of nature, which is far from true as Nether is an incredibly natural and abundant element.
