Gravity

Gravity is a para classical element that represents gravitation, magnetism, bonding, compression and artificial structure. Gravity can be fused from Earth and Order where it embodies the solid physical presence of Earth and the structure and laws of Order.

Manifestation

Essence

Gravity is often represented by crystals, while crystals are of the Earth element, their structure and formation are powered by the Gravity element, this extends to metallic alloys all the way up to complex machinery. Gravity mages usually start by learning the basics of simple gravity manipulation but then usually advance to tinkering with complex machinery, while other elements are used in machinery, Gravity is the most popular as small enchantments can be applied to various components to create complex devices. Gravity can also be used to bend reality and create wormhole portals, while requires a lot of time and planning, these portals are incredibly durable and stable once they are established. Gravity magic is also popular for forging metals under high pressure.

Enchanting

Armor enchanted with Gravity often makes use of its weight reduction ability where the armor is made lighter by manipulating the gravitational pull of the planet, Gravity can also be used to create a suppression field around the armor that can affect the weight of nearby attacks which is great for interfering with physical attacks as well as ranged projectiles. Gravity enchanted weapons are often used to apply a curse that binds the opponent restricting their movement and Gravity can also be used to vary the weight of a weapon where it can be light and heavy interchangeably, it can also add compression allowing for softer and lighter materials to be used. Gravity enchanted machinery can be given self repairing properties depending on the complexity of the machine and enchantment.

Aether

Competing, Gravity suppresses Aether and Aether destroys Gravity.

Nether

Competing, Gravity suppresses Nether and Nether destroys Gravity.

Void

Competing, Gravity overwhelms Void and Void absorbs Gravity.

Localization

Gravity is well known but often overlooked by some cultures, many only see the immediate effects of the element which is the gravity manipulation, but few delve into the more advanced uses of machinery, magnetism or reality warping. Gravity goes by several names in various cultures including Crystal, Warp and Space.
