Itazura

Hailing from the Eastern Kingdoms, the Goblins who would later become the Itazura descended from Underground Goblins stowing away on ships. These Goblins weren't always as accepted in Human societies as they are today, and some were forced to flee this way: luckily, most managed to build a life in the Eastern Kingdom's mountains. Though their appearance might imply a nefarious nature, this would be a short-sighted judgement of the Itazura: they often limit themselves to good-natured mischief and harmless pranks.

Pranksters, not Fiends

History in the Eastern Kingdoms tells of a great evil being defeated, and unleashing one last burst of demonic energy before it's death, hoping to raise an army of devilish followers to achieve what it could not... A reborn world in the image of it's master, Azdar. However, that ripple of evil across the Eastern Kingdoms only managed to permanently affect a certain area, due to interference of several gods. the appearance of the Itazura was amongst these: similar to the Bōhatei that the Itazura hold a long-standing allyship with, the wave of demonic energy never reached their hearts: it thus never managed to corrupt them, and only managed to alter their bodies. Their skin ranges from shades of red to blue, their hair ranges from black to white, and their eyes range from yellow to red.   An Itazura is characterized by a long nose, and small wings on their back: these wings cannot carry them for long, but allow them to jump higher and run faster then their Underground cousins. They often also bear bird-like feet, causing them to have no need for shoes. The Itazura are innately able to control the winds to a degree, and their mages often make use of this in their spells. However, they cannot fully bend the winds to their will: without as much as a breeze present, this ability is rendered useless.
