Savaged Eberron?
Eberron is my campaign setting of choice for playing my fantasy campaigns. There is so much that I love about Eberron, and the more I learn the more I love it. This site is for my players to have lore about Eberron and for me to load in the adventure arcs. Finally this is to also load in my conversions from traditional (and past) versions of D&D to Savage Worlds Adventure Edition. I have begun playing and falling in love with Savage Worlds as a far better system than D&D to play the kind of story driven game that I like to DM.
What is Eberron?
The medieval world of Eberron is a place of magic and monsters, where arcane energy infuses the landscape and greatly influences society and industry. Thanks to a mastery of the arcane arts, the great cities of the continent of Khorvaire contain skyscraping castles, elemental-powered coaches and carriages, and all manner of enchanted conveniences. Magic is industry across the face of Eberron, the innovative spark that propels society forward.
The advances and conveniences made possible by magic augment the trappings of a medieval high fantasy world. Magic and the arcane arts allow for effects that in some ways mimic technological marvels that didn't appear in our world until the 1800s. Something resembling a magical telegraph provides communication between two locations. An arcane analog of the railroad connects defined routes among the more civilized regions of the world. Magic exists to accomplish tasks otherwise impossible—if you have enough gold to pay for the privilege.
It's a world bound by a golden ring and surrounded by twelve moons. It's the intersection of thirteen planes of existence, which shift in and out of alignment. It's a place where magic has been harnessed as a tool—used to build cities, to sail ships through the skies, to create both wonders and weapons.
Eberron embraces swashbuckling action and pulp adventure and adds a layer of neo-noir intrigue. Stories don't always end well and there isn't a perfect answer to every problem. The Last War turned old allies into bitter enemies and destroyed an entire nation, leaving terrible scars behind.
