Dhols

Dhols are the resident race of mahn that resides in Demuros. They reflect the will and form of their designer, Pentukaolin. Dhols have brittle, porcelain skin and, though not as susceptible to the ravages of old age, are fairly delicate and need to take special precautions to avoid injury.

Dhols are held to exceptionally high standards of beauty. Their faces are naturally beautiful from the time they are born, but are still expected to maintain a slim figure and both wermahn and wivmahn are expected to maintain a clean, carefully maintained face of makeup.

Food preparation is one of the most important parts of courtship between two Dhols. The ability to obtain and prepare elegant and delicious meals is viewed as a clear marker of a capable spouse and hence is among the most sought after of skills.
