The white forest

This forest is one of the most magical areas in Saranolia and is known as the white forest. This place earned its name by always being shrouded in a thick, white fog. If it ever disappears something is seriously wrong with the trees. It is also a really beautiful, but dangerous  place to travel though as there are too many poisonous plants and aggressive beings that are leaking everywhere. Snowflake the magic wolf was born in this forest. This is also the home of the magic wolf tribe of the mist, they are without a doubt the strongest pack in Saranolia. Some of the enchanted plants that grow here include: the flower of death, the vines of taking, Tarbut berries (berries that turn you to stone after consumption), trees of mist, herbs of healing and the flower of illusion to name a few. The most terrible monster to lurk in these woods is the white devil. It looks like an enchantingly beautiful, white skinned, white haired woman with large featherless wings and horns, that eats only living flesh. Interaction with this beast always ends in death, sorrow and misfortune. Near the Marton mines, in this forest you can also find the lake of wishes and dreams, many people have tried to reach this lake to have their wishes and wants come true, even when it not always does what people ask for. A legend says that a minor goddess that lived in a big mist tree, went to these waters to cry over her lost son and and then kill herself. After that the lake created a healthy, white, magic wolf pup. Some people have tied to pick healing herbs on the edge of this forest to try and help in the war of magic, without getting in contact with the dangerous parts. Some still do it today.
