Sanctum Totalis

Sanctum Totalis, the world that consists of two main landmasses. Sanctum Oblivion to the West, and Sanctum Annihilis to the East stand proud and strong in the faces of their own personal challenges. Scattered around them, in the surrounding oceans lie several smaller islands and continents, none of which are as developed as the two Sanctums. Peoples of all kind have spread their names across the lands over the millenia that have passed. Emperors, Heroes, Peasants and Beasts all find themselves unable to make a permanent mark on the ever-flying arrow of time.   All descendants today come from ancient people, known as Eternals. The Eternals have been blessed with endless youth by the Gods, only losing their kin in the ways of accidents or murder. Despite several other bloodlines having the capabilities to live for several centuries, none but the Eternals are truly safe from Death's grasp should they live carefully enough. A small percenage of Eternals have made it to the modern day, and have built their own safe-havens in the forms of flying Sky-Cities disguised as clouds.   This world, although initially created without any source of Arcanum has been blessed with its arrival and cursed with its absence. Constantly being meddled with by the passions of the men it was gifted to help. Mortalkind is never satisfied with their relationship to the Arcane. In its presence, there are those who seek to snuff it out. While in its absence millions suffer, lacking its helpful aid.
