Personal history

Following the events of his death and that of his daughter, Cass sought to find the shattered remnants of her soul and put them back together.
With his now twin daughters saved Cass found a new duty thrust upon him. With the girls too young to take up the crown, Cass was crowned King of Ashra in their place. But before he could take up the job proper Cass had to repay his debt and return to Vampyrium.
The mission to save Sorin and his people has failed; the Dhampir are missing, probably dead, the city is destroyed and, thanks to the actions of Emile, Sorin has become a terrible monster. With no option left the party have traveled to the distant past in a desperate effort to stop Sorin's descent into madness before it ever happens.

Motivation
