A Lashan is a large mammalian creature with brown fur. It has three humps of fat on it's back that is used to retain moisture and survive in the desert. The creature also has a long hard beak used to peck at insects and the flesh of cactus, protecting it against spines.

They eat mostly small insects, and the fruit and flesh of cactus.
