This is for content that is appropriate for all ages.
Violence: Fantasy violence with no death, such as being knocked unconscious.
Sex and nudity: Non-erotic nudity
Language: No swearing is permitted.
Drugs: Depiction of smoking and alcohol use by adults is permitted, but must be not depicted excessively. Depiction of minors using smoking and alcohol is permitted, but only if it is clearly depicted as negative.
U Uagi (10 and up)
This is for content that is appropriate for those over the age of 10.
Violence: Depictions of killing is permitted, as long as it is bloodless, and clearly either done by an evil person, or in self defense.
Language: Mild swearing is permitted, as long as it is not excessive, and only done by villains, or has consequences (a child swears and is immediately punished for it).
Sex and Nudity: Some very mild innuendo is permitted.
Drugs: Same as with |.
T Tashgino (15 and up):
This is for content that is appropriate for those over the age of 15.
Violence: Depictions of killing is permitted with some blood, but must not contain excessive gore.
Language: Mild swearing is permitted, as long as it is not excessive. Heroic characters may swear, but only occasionally in cases of duress.
Sex and Nudity: Sexual themes are permitted, and implications of sex.
Drugs: Use of drugs and alcohol can be more frequently used, but excessive use still must be depicted as negative.
K Kagino (20 and up):
This is for content that is appropriate for those over the age of 15.
Violence: Depictions of killing is permitted with some blood and gore.
Language: Harsh swearing is permitted.
Sex and Nudity: Sexual themes and depictions of sex
Drugs: Same as T.
