Kendrick Family Line

The descendants of Katherine Kendrick, an unknown death from the Salem Witch Trials- she was the only one burned at the stake for being a witch, follow closely in her footsteps. Her children escaped the trials and found places for themselves in Salem and raised their families there. The judge who ordered her burned, was in fact himself dabbling in the mystical arts, in black magic. Her descendants were able to met out justice on her behalf and after destroying the judge and locking his spirit, and thus the demon that inhabited his body, away, the family was tasked with making sure the protections keeping him sealed were renewed often. Journals were kept by each woman, they also served as their books of shadows as well as letting the next generation know what they had.

While the line is followed through the matriarchy and through the daughter who in inherited the family abilities, other children were also born.

• Rebecca: Anna and Ezekiel - Zeke was a notorious gambler, and eventually his debt and greed for money caught up to him; he bet the ancestral home and then lost the game. He and Anna were evicted and he wound up in jail. 
• Anna: Thomas and Tabitha - Anna decided that the town of Salem had heard the Kendrick name enough and became the first of the family to accept her husband's name.
