Coming Home

After leaving at the age of twenty(eighteen?) due to a rift in her family and friends, one caused by many factors. Her friends were going off to college, and in her cousin Leslie's case, were getting married. She felt adrift. On top seeing apparitions that had her grandmother alarmed, she caught her boyfriend in what seemed like a cheating situation. Finally on her grandmother's suggestion, she decided on going to college abroad and then traveling overseas to learn about magic in other countries.
Nickki returns home at the call of her family after ten years, to see her grandmother who is on her death bed. Nickki arrives in time to be passed the mantel of familial responsibility and bid farewell to her beloved grandmother. After being absent for 10/12 years, much has changed and Nickki must needs to figure out how to immerse herself back into this world. Clashes with family as well as her friends, who made up her coven when they were younger are bound to bring back bad blood.
With her mother and step-father now mainly living in the Hampton's of Long Island, New York, she needs to find her own place, as the home she grew up in no longer feels like home with everyone gone.

• Her older brother went and married her once-best friend and lo and behold, she has five nieces and nephews! Daniel and Tori seem very happy, even though Tori is giving her the cold shoulder. Her twin nephews, Oliver and Matthew are four and absolute troublemakers, the triplets; Rachel, Roma and Rhianna are only two and completely adorable. It was no surprise that they had multiples as twins and triplets ran in both sides of the families! Daniel followed in his father's footsteps and drives a truck when he's not working at the family garage.
• Her sister Melissa, long since moved out when she was eighteen, still lives in her little cookie cutter home and has a steady job at an accounting firm. She is married to a nice man named Simon Eatenton and they have a little girl who is now seven, named Amelia.
• Her brothers Josh and Jordan have an apartment in Boston where they had gone to college. They work at the family mechanic shop in Cambridge. Neither have married nor are in serious relationships.
• Her sister Amber has finished college and is living in Salem, in an apartment shared with their younger sister Rhiannon who is finished her fourth year Bachelor's in Psychology. Amber- job?
• Her younger sister and brother, Brielle and Breton are still in college at 22, working on separate degrees in education and engineering. They occupy the family home and work part-time. Brielle is a server at one of the local restaurants and Breton works in the original family garage.
• Her half-sister Aine is only eighteen and just started college in New York where she lives with their parents. She decided to pursue an Art degree.
• Half-brother Kegan, who was only a babe when she left for school, is now fifteen and living with their parents and going to highschool. He works in his father's law firm filing papers and doing odd jobs.

• Out of her step-siblings, the oldest, Ronnie became a junior partner at the law firm, following solidly in his father's footsteps. At thirty-four, he unmarried and not likely to be anytime soon. He loves his job and starts early and works late.
• Monica, who had been spoiled by her mother and mostly a bane to Nickki growing up, went to France for her schooling and pursued a degree in fashion. Still in Paris, she has her own label and is one of the trending designers.
• Ryan just married his highschool sweetheart, as they both waited to finish all their schooling. Emily had earned her MD and Ryan is CEO of a top company.
• Samantha, the youngest step-sibling, finished college and just moved in with Amber and Rhiannon. She became a vet and just started her own animal hospital.

She was surprised to see that her Aunt Natalie was running for Mayor of Salem, a position she never thought of for her aunt. After being home for a while, she realized that this was her cousin Heather's doing, as Heather wanted to bring glory back to the family name. Of her friends, some had married and also had children- they also made it clear that they would not take Nickki back without good explanation of her leaving.

• Blossom is now married to Robert Cunningham and has two little boys, ages five and three. She is the owner of her own greenhouse/agricultural business called 'Blossom's Blossoms' and Robert is working an office job.
• Kellie is unmarried but is a well-known blues singer who owns and sings at a club called 'Boney McGee's'.
• Keelin is also unmarried but currently dating a young man named Bran Davies and it looks serious. She is the owner of 'Dark of the Moon' an occult shop.
• Casey, also unmarried and not seriously dating, started up a helicopter tour called 'Salem in the Sky', having been taught to fly by her pilot father.
• Courtney finally married Tori's brother, Brad and they have one child, a daughter named Diane who is two. She owns a sculptuary/statuary store called 'Stoned'.
• Leslie, Nickki's cousin, was just getting married to her long-time boyfriend and father of her child when Nickki left- in fact Nickki left the day of the wedding. Colin is now ten and has a little sister named Brianna who is seven. Leslie works at the Mass General for Children, one of the hospitals and Corey had a landscaping business- helped by Blossom.
• Heather, cousin on her mom's side, is unmarried, but seeing a young man from one of the wealthier families. She aspires to be a name in town that is associated with prestige and power. She is the brains behind her mother running for mayor and the biggest advocate in keeping Nickki from re-joining their coven. Job?
• Jennifer is unmarried, but thinks she met her soulmate, a man named Kyle Roberts. She works at AECOM? as a Marine Scientist/Biologist. She lives in an apartment with her twin sister.
• Amanda, Jennifer's twin, is also unmarried but not seeing anyone. She owns her own store called 'Spirit Trails' and she gives guided tours of Salem's hottest ghost spots as well as does palm/tarot readings.
• Katie, otherwise known as Katalynn Roth, a famous actress and model. She married Tori's older brother Adam and they have two children, Mercedes and Neil who are four and two.
• Tori, stealer of Nickki's brother's heart, owns her own bounty hunting business called 'Shadow Hunters'. Her success rate is unrivaled.
