Sumaka Moru
Sumaka Moru is the capital city of the Bayinae people, built atop the Cymere outcrop they control. Though large, it has a small number of permanent residents, usually composed of devout paladins to guard the city from outsiders and servants to take care of the resident Kyne, the Bayinae's religious leader.
Little is known of Sumaka Moru by outsiders. Precious few non-Bayinae have been permitted to enter the city—none in recent memory—and those who wander in its direction to catch a glimpse it soon find themselves escorted away at swordpoint. Some thieves boast of sneaking over the city's walls and absconding with their precious Cymere, but such rogues are universally dismissed as tellers of tall tales.
Those who are allowed into Sumaka Moru, such as builders and Cymere scholars, are subjected to a long and arduous sacrament intended to purify them before they set foot into the city. The Kyne usually hand-selects these individuals, and it is considered the highest of honors.
