Vermion (ver-mi-on)

History

The vermion clan was made by a group of Elkir who setteled in the mountian of Al'kier that was located right by where they had seen their great empire draw its last breath. They did this as a reminder of their past mistakes. The Vermion clan discovered that their mountian home had a massive amount of iron in them. Discovering this the vermion clan started mining and smithing weapons. Over time the elkir saw their metalwork as a type of art and had a great amount of pride for their skilfull Aval'ir. The recourses in Al'kier did not go unnoticed as many other clans fought to gain the recouses. The vermion clan was mostly victorious against their enemies as they managed to turn a lot of clan members in enemy clans to betray their own clans. This way they also gained a strength in numbers.(however since elkir value honour and betraying ones clan is without honour. The traitor would have to start agian as a non member of the clan until they could prove their undying loyalty to their new clan.) However, with their large numbers the clan started struggeling with not having enough food to get by. This was solved when they established trade with the Amaroon for food in exhange for their skillfully made weapons. One day clan chief Navran Vermion of the vermion clan set out on a mission to end the devestating clan wars amonsgt their people. He med alliances with his closest and most powerful clans who shared the same views as his clan. Tough it took a lot of time and a lot of death and a lot of convincing, in the end he had made what is now known as the Rumuar alliance.
