Kutta

The Kuttata are a species from the planet Jatoran that are vaguely centipede-like in appearance. They were originally parasites that lived in the mouths of Gidara worms, a species of massive, tube-shaped creatures that eat particles in the air. Eventually, some Kuttata became able to direct the movement of the Gidara through chemical signals, and moved them to safer locations. This relationship advanced to the point where the Kuttata and Gidara fuse together shortly after birth, and the Kuttata controls the Gidara almost completely.

Anatomy

Segmented, with a cylindrical body. Have 8 limbs, the bottom of which are vestigial and largely useless. Have 2 compound eyes and 3 simple eyes.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Kuttata obtain nutrition directly from the bloodstream of their host Gidara.
