Latin

Magia est fons omnis potestas
— Unknown
Latin is the main language used for magical purposes. Spells and ancient magical texts are written in Latin. Be careful, as yelling random Latin words might summon something unpleseant.

Phonology

Sounds are made in a very similar way to English, but with a more Italian jazz to them. The consonant structure of Latin is much simpler compared to other languages, only sporting a few Labial, Dental, and Velar consonants with a few more mixed in.

Morphology

The Latin alphabet looks exactly the same as the English alphabet. Latin does not use any diacritic markings (accent marks, tildes, etc.).
