Rakkor

A name thought to mean “the Tribe of the Last Sun”, the Rakkor tribes boast many skilled artisans, craftspeople, and merchants—however, they tend to value a simple life of humility and prayer to the heavens.     Eking a living from mountain plants and their precious herds, the Rakkor tribe dwells at the very limits of human endurance; honing their warrior skills to fight the war at the end of the world. Rakkor means Tribe of the Last Sun, and its people believe that many worlds have existed before this one, each of which has been destroyed by a great catastrophe. Its seers teach that when this sun is destroyed there will be no more, so its warriors must be ready to fight those who seek to extinguish its light. Rakkor priests teach that when their sun is destroyed, all will diminish into darkness, so its warriors must be ready to fight those who seek to extinguish its light. To the Rakkor, battle is an act of devotion, an offering to keep the sun's light shining. All members of the tribe are expected to fight and kill without mercy or hesitation. Rakkor warriors are trained not only to be as lethal with their bare hands as the most capable martial artists but also to fiercely wield the many relic-weapons of the tribe. The stone-faced warrior Atreus (Pantheon) is considered the paragon of his people.

You have resistance to necrotic damage and radiant damage.   • Sun and Moon. You need to decide whether you are a Solari or Lunari.

Solari

The worship of the Sun as the source of all life. Solaric worship is largely made up by a special sect of Rakkorians who surrender their mantles of war in favor of greater solar devotion. Their founder and leader chose Mount Targon, being the highest peak closest to the Sun, and was blessed with the power to call down the sun's wrath. Currently, Leona, the Radiant Dawn, has taken this legend's regalia and fights to protect the helpless and the innocent.   • Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.   • Sunshine. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action while you are seeing the sun to call upon their power, causing your eyes to glimmer and your silhouette to shine. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. Once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Lunari

The worship of the Moon. The religion spoke that the world needed balance between both sun and moon to live and thrive. However, it has long since been quashed from the world and history, most likely by the Solari's hand. The Lunari's return may come to pass through the crusade waged by Diana, the Scorn of the Moon and an outcast by the Solari themselves.   • Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.   • Moonshine. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action while you are seeing the moon to call upon their power, causing your eyes to turn black while black mist obscures your body.
