Demacians

As citizens of a strong, lawful kingdom with a prestigious military history, Demacia’s people have always valued the ideals of justice, honor, and duty most highly, and are fiercely proud of their cultural heritage. The capital, the Great City of Demacia, was founded as a refuge from sorcery after the nightmare of the Rune Wars, and built upon the riddle of petricite—a peculiar white stone that dampens magical energy. But in spite of its lofty principles, this largely self-sufficient nation has grown more insular and isolationist in recent centuries.

• Age: Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
• Alignment: Altho their intentions might diverge, Demacians are almost entirely lawful.
• Demacian Combat Training: You have proficiency with the two and one-handed swords, and one weapon of your choice.
• Demacian Justice: You have advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws against magic.
• Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.
• Proud heritage: You are proficient in History and Athletic checks.
• Size: Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
• Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
