Runes and Words

Three days ago, the phone call had woken you up in the early hours of the morning. As a journalist, you are used to breaking stories and an erratic schedule. This phone call was something else. The editor had talked nervously, rapidly, about dropping everything you were doing. The paper was building a quick expedition team. Apparently, it had to do with a small settlement in northern Quebec that was "discovered" a couple of days ago. No one knows how, but these folks had been living there for centuries without contact from the outside world. The plane shakes once more, bringing you back to the present. The small, old plane seems to be on the verge of ripping out at each gust of wind. You are accompanied by a cameraman, your editor, an anthropologist, and a pilot. The pilot announces your arrival, and starts the turbulent descent. What have you gotten yourself into?
