Creation
Runefel was brought into existence by the breaths of the three ancient gods who used the last of their life to give life to Runefel. Ystus, the ancient goddess of time and space, whose breath erased the dark history and bound Runefel's shattered form together. Opdea, the ancient goddess of life and death, whose breath brought life to the barren land and cleansed it of the ancient enemies of all life. Aklios, the ancient god of war and wisdom, whose breath gave of the means to defend ourselves and the wisdom to use them wisely. With their last breaths, the ancient gods brought into existence the new gods and wove magic into our world creating the start of our known history.
The Lands of Runefel
Runefel is a very diverse world that has been influenced by the Gods and Titans that brought about it into existence. There are 10 continents that comprise Runefel's landmass; Aesiox, Demistrous, Elios, Eloria, Finira, Kludith, Ralune, Valethorn, Vogrune, Vritaes. Each of these continents varies greatly as they have either been altered by the Divine Graves or the Obelisk Tombs which tend to either warp the lands or creatures for great distances around them.   There are currently only 5 major civilizations on Runefel; Thylosia, Nelstrihm, Hirane, Drehlis, and Edisa. Thylosia, The City of Stone, is located on Kludith. Nelstrihm, The City of the Dead, is located on Fianira. Hirane, The Evernight City, is located on Valethorn. Drehlis, The Forgotten City, is located on Aeslox. Edisa, The Floating City, is located on Vritaes.
The Ancient World
Runefel is said to be the remnants of an ancient and forgotten world that was brought into being some time ago by forces beyond comprehension. The ruins of old civilizations are used as the foundations for a new life, built upon their strange and ever-present forms. The ruins shape the very life surrounding them causing new beings to emerge from simply existing around them. These ruins are known as the Obelisk Tombs and the Divine Graves, which exist across Runefel untouched by time.

The Fractured Timeline

Runefel has been witness to many events that have forever changed not only the landscape of the planet but also the temporal and spatial stabilities of these areas. Fractures happen at the sites of battles between Gods and Titans, areas where the use of dangerous magics have been used, and locations of clashes that defined eras. These places are forever changed by these events
