The Thief in the Night

It came about on a dark night But all was not quite right.
As a young man crept through the dark His footprints left barely a mark
He learned the hard way And the Watchmen finally had their say.
A lesson he would never forget With these new friends he met.
The Watchmen will pay their lives With their swords, bows, and knives.
A quick change and they was gone But with a new team, he didn’t miss them long.
Nothing can separate This team of friends Many enemies may hate But it will only mend.
