Wandering through the market, you inspect a stall for sale. This would be a good place to sell some of your work. A man walks by pushing a wooden hand cart and you stop him. "I'm looking to start up a business in Asteri. What product is in the greatest demand and where should I set up?" you ask the kind looking man. "Well hello there, stranger. The one trade I would recommend most would be a blacksmith or metal worker. There are only several in the whole kingdom and they can't train apprentices fast enough. Not to mention that they are piled high with tool request and jobs. Where? Just about anywhere would do. Though I would suggest setting up shop in the Phoenix Village. They could you a good smithy up there in the wild. But I'll warn you, the last blacksmith there moved out because of all the raider activity. You will have to watch it up there. Or another good place to work to for the League of Watchmen. They need new swords, knives, and arrowheads all the time, but it's not the best line of work. Those people are shady and mysterious. You might just want to stick to settling down in a village. Someone like you can take on apprentices and expand trade quickly." You nod while absorbing the information. "Thanks. You've been a great help." Turning to leave, you get stopped by the man who laid a hand on your arm. "Wait just a minute now. Don't forget to watch out for thieves. Since a smithy is rare in the country, they will try to rob you blind. They'll even try it during the day when people are around." A smile spreads across your face at the man's genuine concern. "Good to know. Thanks again." With a smile, the man waved and disappeared in the crowd, leaving you on your way.
