Crafting Rules

Item Quality
Each piece of equipment will have a level of quality to them. These levels describe how effective the item is at what it does. They are described as the following:   Masterwork: +2 to all checks performed with this equipment. Standard: follows the normal rules of the equipment. Poor: -2 to all checks performed with this equipment.   Potions cannot be poor nor masterwork. Weapons and armor that are masterwork provide a +1 bonus to a total maximum of +3.
Crafting Items
Crafting items will produce items of these different qualities based upon your skill and quality of tools and materials. The better material and tool quality, the easier the crafting check will be. Masterwork materials and tools provide a bonus of +2 each to the crafting check.   Some materials are more difficult to work with than others. Without proficiency in working with these materials, it makes the crafting check more difficult. However, the more that you work with that material, the more that you progress towards that proficiency.
Citestones
Citestones are magically potent crystals that are a rare find in the world, and can be used in crafting to create items. They are difficult to work with, but proper application during creation can provide powerful benefits.   Weapons[br/] All citestones provide a +1 bonus to the weapon to a total maximum of +3.   Terracite: On a successful hit with this weapon, the target must make a Strength saving throw equal to 10 + your Constitution modifier or be knocked prone.   Aquacite: On a successful hit with this weapon, the target must make a Constitution saving throw equal to 10 + your Constitution modifier or they lose the use of their reaction until the end of their next turn.   Ignicite: On a successful hit with this weapon, the target bursts into flames taking 1d6 fire damage at the beginning of each of its turns. The target must spend an action to put out the flames.   Fulmecite: Your critical hit range for this weapon increases by 1 (i.e. you critically hit on 19-20, instead of 20).
