The year of the dragon

One fateful day something shook the world of Faerun. With a shockwave rocking the entire Sword Coast, something appeared in the middle of the Sea of Swords. Agitated by the arcane surge, the sages of Candlekeep quickly began investigating the source of the blast. Soon, rumors about a strange door between Candlekeep and the isle of Alaron arose. Brave adventurers set out to explore the anomaly. The daring first, setting their foot into the unknown, were called the 'Beclaimers '.   Upon entering the Portal Door the Beclaimers found themselves in a world unseen before. They discovered an uninhabited archipelago, a group of isles. Unable to locate any signs of a (possibly deceased) civilization, they decided to besettle the area and to proclaim this land their own kingdom. Named after their new king Bargun Rockhand, a dwarfen warrior and former leader of the Beclaimers, the region of Rokando was founded.   Rokando consists of five main isles, . Additionally there are several islets scattered across, some of them forming little groups like the . Soon after founding the kingdom many wizards, sorcerers, knowledge seekers and those who could not resist an arcane mystery decided to follow in the Beclaimers's footsteps and delve into the new world.   Even though all of Rokando has been proclaimed kingdom, no one has yet traveled past the spine mountains. It is now, that many seek the adventure, treasure and mystery of the unknown. It is here where you begin your adventure.
