The Muses

These seemingly supreme beings wander around the world of Rispalta, signified by an Omega letter with an eye meeting the sides of the Omega along the heads of their black robes that they wear. Muses take enjoyment out of messing with the politics and destinies of numerous people around the world, often taking their people and making pawns like a large game of chess. With no sense of unity and differing goals, "pawns" might but heads, and with their abilities, they can make things difficult for the other side, but never completely impossible. This rule, along with the other rule of not directly altering destiny are the only things that bind their power.
How many Muses are there? How have they acquired such magical power? What are their true goals? How involved are they in the balance of the world's politics? Such questions still remain...

There is no certain structure to this organization. They are all seperate beings with the same contract and same amount of power, but will hold their influence in attempting to change the world in some other accord.
