Play Session 9/27/21 - Onyx's Folly

Jorn and Jil discussed taking the zombie-turned-donkey to the entrance of the lair so it couldn't follow us as we looked for Varram.

While doing so, Gojira woke with a roar and a rumble as he burst from the rock pile that knocked him unconscious.

-The group decided to head back down the sloped hallway and continue the way we we're headed previously.

Jilfaen spied a catch in the hallway that was well hidden. She showed it to Onyx who checked it for traps and then opened it and quietly slipped through.

the rest of the group waited in anticipation for the first sound of a struggle in case Onyx needed help.

Onyx spied 5 devils who seemed ambivalent that he'd entered the room.

Not one to spend too much time with small talk , he challenged them to fight. The leader retorted,

"Come to your death, little man!"

at the first sound of struggle, the rest of the party charged in to help.

Initially only two of the devils fought thinking that they could best the party without much struggle, but things turned out harder than they bargained for as the leader was send back to the hellish plains by Jorn's mace.

Everyone did their part and there are only two devils left as the session ended.
