Play Session 9/13/21 - The Mummy Donkey

-Jorn and Jill rushed over to check on Gojira who in the last session had a trap sprung on him sending an avalanche of boulders on his head. He was knocked out and buried in rubble that also blocked the double doors. Since he was safe and the debris blocked that route, the group decided to head down a narrow hallway about 40' long and one person wide that sloped downward.

Despite our best investigators checking for traps, we triggered a pressure plate that send a boulder of bones held together by magic on us. Most failed their saving throws and took damage. Jil and Robin were grabbed by skeletal hands and continued rolling down into a room full of tapestries and explodes as it impacts the opposite wall.

-The group all hears a voice whisper in their ears something about "humility proffered in the way of Mystril" and the arcane of the group assume it's a message clue about how to keep ourselves safe by word or by posture (with head bowed and hands raised) in this area.
-Jorn who was shook up having just witnessed the skeletal ball stretched out using Divine Sense and got a general ping. Using his mace to look behind a tapestry, he spied a sarcophagus. He instinctively knew to leave it alone, but Shofar was like a kid with a new toy and disturbed the slumber of some undead.
-Six mummies attacked the group. Robin made a pincushion out of one. Our dragonborn sorcerer lit up two with a fireball.... to no one's surprise. Shofar and Jorn went melee on some, and Jil turned another into...*drumroll* a Donkey using polymorph. Andhero patched up the group a little as the session ended. Thankfully no one had the displeasure of catching mummy rot.
