The Beast of the Fens

A terrible, huge, loathsome creature, standing twice the height of a Falakian man, covered in fur and thick scales, maw dripping poison, claims a part of the Fens for itself. It is known as "the Beast of the Fens" to the people of Grakis. The members of Wispbane consider it a prize quarry. It has been terrorizing Grakis for generations. Its ranging is random, but never fails to be destructive for people - or towns, or villages - caught in its wake.
Just before and during the Battle of Angrath, the Beast was seen carrying prey to a previously-hidden lair in south-central Grakis. It is suspected that the creature has young that it is feeding, though this rumor has yet to be confirmed.
