New Coldain

New Coldain was once a mighty college of magic, having taught the most powerful wizards of the age. The greatest of these was Ayren Bromista, head of the New Coldain Enclave of Magicians, Sorcerers, Wizards, and Warlocks and ruler of New Coldain. However, some great catastrophe destroyed the city utterly, blasting the tower of the Enclave and most of the surrounding structures to bits and slaying every person inside the city. Scholars speak of even worse consequences of the catastrophe, but won’t go into details.
The Enclave has been rebuilt over time, though it has not reclaimed its former glory and prominence. The current Headmaster of the Enclave, Borya Pishtak, is away on sabbatical, leaving the talented wizard Andaemus Vol in charge as interim Headmaster until his return.
