The Blood Hunters were initially formed sometime during the 11th century in Byzantia. The exact origin of the organization is shrouded in mystery but it is believed to be a reaction to the ascension of the Lich King Gallus Horatius. Now there are only a handful of these deadly warriors left. As such there is no standing organizational structure.
Some Hunters live by a code. Others do what they have to to get by. They all work as mercenaries in one form or another, usually being paid to rid the world of a monster.
