Solaris is an assassin’s guild that works across the entirety of Silumni. Established in 1303, they were originally intended as an uprising from the shadows against the tyrannous Luna, Queen of the Moon, who at the time was the leading governess of Feilheis. Luna was a reckless and power hungry leader, making all across Silumni kneel before her. Solaris was founded by Drazire Kiraknos, a young Dragonborn who had been exiled by Luna for not obeying her orders when she looted his town for its riches. He was only allowed exile instead of execution because he directly challenged Luna to trial by combat, in which he managed to stall her out to the point that she ‘got bored’. He was made to leave, where he trained, and returned to Silumni in the shadows, and set up Solaris.
--The Blood Moon Uprising—
In 1306, three years after Solaris was set up, they began The Blood Moon Uprising. The uprising lasted 2 weeks, and was set to come to climax under a blood moon, symbolic of Luna’s name. They slowly took out high up officials, shutting down government bodies and those who willingly complied with Luna, and cut off access to her most important resources. On the final day, the 13th May 1306, The most elite six members of Solaris attacked Luna directly, killing her guards and wizards, and wiping her out for good. They still managed to keep this under wraps, with them using a face to cover up their workings. Solaris remained hidden, with Geldor the Great, a Dwarven Fighter, taking the credit publicly. He took over control of the region, with Solaris sneaking back into the shadows.
Solaris have continued their work in the 700+ years since then, with Drazire retiring, though immortal, to live a more humble, simple life. Solaris is now led by someone that only the true higher ups have ever met, and simply goes by the code name ‘The Overseer’. No one truly knows who he is except for his inner circle, consisting of four people, known as The Seasons.
