Pious Spell

A Pious Spell is an ability granted to you by one of the 11 Old Gods. Pious Spells do not use up Spell Slots like a normal spell slot does; instead, they have a number of uses as stated by the spell or Pious Feature. Pious Spells are mainly gained through levelling up, as Pious Features are gained depending on where you were born, and many of these grant characters access to Pious Spells. However, there are a few exceptions;

Low level generic Pious Spells, developed over the years by religious extremists who have studied the Gods' powers.

High level Pious Spells, created by the Gods during the war oin order to defeat Lu-Kutae.

Any spell that targets other spells, like Detect Magic or Counterspell, do not affect Pious Spells.
