Grista owned and ran the Sleeping Giant taproom. She did not keep the pub clean, and it attracted the ruffians of Phandalin, like the Redbrands.
She was described to be bad-tempered, rude, and unpleasant.
She values being left alone to run her business the way she saw fit, and has no desire to get involved with anyone else's personal business.
