Dragon

A glistening dot in the sky, floating above the Rhina, diving upon the lesser beings. In the matter of moments that sparkle in the sky can become a torrent of death. Dragons are a horrifying sight for most. Luckily for the mortals of Rhina, they are also extremely rare.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Dragons are quadrupedal or bipedal (although there are subspecies of dragons, all are generally classified as dragons), with additionally a pair of large leathery wings. They are covered in scales, with several rows of long pointed lower with triangular upper. They have five talons on each foot with an additional talon at the join in their wings. Somewhere inside of the creature is an elemental sack that allows them to spit fire, acid, etc.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dragons are born from eggs. After a few months of being kept in warm conditions, dragon eggs hatch. Anything beyond this is unknown, and knowledge is extrapolated from the hatching of Kornarak.

Growth Rate & Stages

Dragons grow slowly, reaching full size in about a hundred years. The full life span of a dragon is currently unknown.

Additional Information

Average Intelligence

Dragons are at least as intelligent as the people of Rhina. They can speak as other mortals do despite their very different morphology.

Civilization and Culture

History

Dragons were not originally created for Rhina. Many says that Saefi was a dragon. However, Kornarak is not as powerful as a plane should be, or doesn't leverage this power if he has it (he would if he did). Most likely, dragons were one of the experimental creatures Thi created in pursuit of people. Either way, no one knows where dragons originate, how many there are, or really.... anything about them. There have been 3 dragons in recorded history. The one of interest is Kornarak. Most information about dragons comes from limited interactions and observations of Kornarak.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Blue is definitely a color dragons can be. It is not clear if or what other colors a dragon can be.
