Anatomy

For the most part, Brecar resemble Zaranai, with one notable exception. The skin of a Brecar is rough and almost stone-like, giving them a distinct look and increased natural defense against exterior harm.

Located mostly in the far eastern mountains of the great continent in smaller settlements or a few scattered large cities.

Thick, long and full beards and heads of hair are generally linked with genetic purity and are highly valued in a mate.

History

Brecar tend to look to the future, not the past, and hence their history is often spotty and contains only the most basic of information. They believe that a focus on traditions and history bogs down progress, and some Brecar go so far as to prevent historical records from being kept and persecuting those who make attempts to do so. Many scholars among the Brecar believe their long-standing traditions actually were passed down to them by the Ancients, which, like the Zaranai, the Brecar claim to have descended from.
