Story Synopsis
Ebzax is said to have been trained by an avatar of Mystra, the goddess of magic, but that was close to 200 years ago. Being human, Ebzax has used the bark of a Mirbeck tree to craft a concoction of longevity. But it’s not perfect, for he is decrepit and his servants must carry him around on a cot. Despite his poor physical condition, Ebzax is the head of the Magocracy of Clacton and a high level wizard. His supply of Mirbeck bark has dwindled; he needs volunteers willing to venture into the center of Shadow Wood to retrieve the rare bark. Travel deep into Shadow Wood is fraught with uncertainty. And to complicate matters warring has begun between two Lizardfolk tribes, a peaceful and a demon-worshipping tribe. Also rumors speak of the growing demon-worshipping Lizardfolk forces and their destruction of all that is good and harmonious in the Wood. Ebzax can offer the following as reward; gold, land for a homestead, good grace or rank within the Magocracy of Clacton, or access to his spellbook.Game Play
