The Salts

The Salts region sits at the southernmost point of Revilo, between The Badlands to the west and The Marsh to the east. This region includes an ocean bay and a small tropical island. The flourishing jungle of the Salts is incredibly lush, and filled with plants and wildlife in a kaleidoscopic range of colors. Few land dwellers are welcomed onto the Salts island, as its inhabitants are very protective of their islet.
Here the salt in these tropical waters is a vibrant green. It is harvested and then sold at the Ship Trading Post to be used throughout Revilo. The trading post is well known for selling an array of exotic and sought after foods. the Salts can be found on the southern coast of the mainland, where all of the Revilian rivers form the estuary flowing into the sea. the Salts is also home to many delicious fruits and sea life that cannot be found anywhere else in Revilo. However, more than just delicious fruits and smoked fish can be found at the Ship Trading Post.
The flourishing jungle of the Salts is teeming with insects and plants that are strangely potent incantation enhancers. Some Revilian alchemists and outlanders alike rely on these rare components to magically conjure similar effects to the powers of the gods.
