Icy Divide

Along the northeastern coast of Revilo lies an expansive mountain range known as the Icy Divide. This frozen barrier provides protection from what lies beyond. Sprinkled throughout the mountains are sparse groupings of villages for the creatures acclimated to the cold. Tunnels have been carved beneath the frigid surface of this region to connect the existing natural caverns into a labyrinth of frozen passageways. The first Reapers who settled inside the Icy Divide expertly crafted the original system of tunnels to spare them from the harsh wintry weather above. This elaborate system of tunnels and rooms gave them a place to seek refuge while acting as protectors of the eastern edge of Revilo. It is not known in the historical records what exactly the Reapers are guarding the land from, only that Creedona herself tasked them with their cause.
After many years of being the only species inhabiting the tunnels, the Reapers made a pact with a clan of Groblynns who had been living topside. It was a particularly harsh winter, and everyone knew if they were to stay above ground the Groblynns would not survive. Since then more species have made the tunnels their home.
