The One

Ship Name: The One   Length: 17 km/10 mi   Width: 11 km/6.8mi   Height: 36 km/22mi   Engine Units: 25   RibbonRide Rating: Equipped   Hull: Unknown alloy forged offworld from unknown source.    Armament: Heavy Turbolasers, Anti-ship Missile Batteries, Light Ion Cannons, Heavy Ion Cannons, Tractor Beam projectors, Anti-ship Mines. Troop dropships (armored), Troop carriers (armored), Escape shuttles, Battleships, Battlecruisers, Scout ships, Guardian ships, Fighter craft, Elite fighter craft, Stealth fighter craft.   Crew Compliment: 5 Million (Estimated) / 5 Million (Estimated) Passenger compliment   It was used as a combined flagship, research ship, mobile command center, mass-transporter ship for passengers, a war materials and troop manufacturing and deployment ship, as well as other functions that it had been constructed for the race which make up the full compliment of crew and passengers.    Affiliation: Dysonian Third Collective    Navy: The Dysonian Navy    The One is a massive vessel built and commanded by members of the Dysonian and their race, as well as their combined force which was known as The Dysonian Collective or The Dysonian Third. This vessel was the sister ship of The Only, which was the designated passenger ship that carried almost a billion total passengers and the crew that piloted and maintained the ship during it's journey across space. They had discovered more than five-thousand galaxies during their expansion of the universe, and had inhabited every possible world along the way, quashing and destroying their known governments and replacing them under the rule of able and qualified members of the Dysonian race, who made stations on every planet and maintained communications with the two ships.    The One is believed to be the protector ship of The Only, as the latter is not equipped with as many weapons or other craft and defenses as The One, therefor putting it in possible danger without it's sister ship during a battle or other event in which the passenger ship may be targeted as a potential object of interest by whichever party is engaging the vessel at the time. The Only is slightly larger than The One, but they are often seen together when drifting through open space between star systems, to remain connected and close by in order to more easily deliver messages across the vessels from their authoritative parties. The One is capable of being self-sustained due to the five internal reactor core casings and the distribution of that power to all vital systems onboard, including sustenance production, waste disposal, goods manufacturing, life support, security systems, water supply and other facilities as well. Of the five casings that hold the ship's anti-matter fusion reactors - some of the largest and most powerful in the known galaxy in which the vessel is currently located - each casing holds two internal reactors, bringing the grand total of power supply stations to ten, each providing energy to a different area of the ship, usually centralized around each reactor core and it's casing, which can be separated via bulkheads and cut off in times of emergency. It is known by only a few that there are metal refineries and manufacturing lines that provide the material necessary to construct all goods onboard the vessel, and the ship can also draw on power from the open void of space and the endless supply of Aeth Matter, which is a negatively energy present across known space, residing in everything from stars to living beings and even supplying necessary energy for life on those planets. How this technology was constructed is unknown, but it is capable of providing endless energy supply to the vessel and can be amplified to gather larger quantities if necessary, although this has been avoided due to the fact that drawing too much matter was deemed dangerous for the anti-matter fusion reactors onboard the vessel.    Also present on the vessel are two large hangar bays, one on the uppermost section of the ship and one on the lowermost section of the ship, with the other six located on the starboard and port sides and capable of holding smaller vessels such as star destroyers or defense vessels, capable of carrying tens of thousands of troops onboard. There are also more than a dozen smaller hangars located around the larger ones, these able to house hundreds of personal fighter craft that are mostly controlled by AI and piloted by the ship's computer systems. This eliminates the risk of the crew being killed in battle, and since the capital vessels are capable of building and mass-producing these fighter craft, the numbers are almost always high and maintained at all times. The vessel also houses military training facilities such as fully constructed and simulated battlegrounds from several well-known planets and their environments.    The One and The Only are capable of travelling through alternate dimensions in space, and also capable of maintaining high speeds of travel for extended periods of time due to the ability to draw from Aeth Matter to maintain the systems that can keep the vessel at high speeds. The expanse of space that grants access to these incredible speeds is known as The Ribbon, and the method of travel is known as Ribbon Riding. Measuring the travel along the Ribbon is counted in Slices, all of which are counted as an alternate method to mileage or even kilometers of travel across space.    One notable instance of contact between The One and an opposing force was a battle over the Ralvak system and their host planet of Ralvak Four, where The Alliance - a force of united planets covering over hundreds or thousands of systems - was fighting against The One and the artificially controlled fighter craft. The Alliance was destroyed during the battle, every ship was lost and all but one member of the entire Alliance crew survived, an ensign from one of the many scout ships that had been destroyed during the fight. The system was decimated, the host planet overtaken, and The Alliance and a majority of the Ralvian race was killed.    The One is also the home vessel of the Dysonian Rex, the commanding high officer of the entire race, who was implanted into the ship's main computer systems and other facilities, maintaining control of almost every known system on the ship. The One does also possess a main bridge where the commanding crew observe all maneuvers of the vessel either during battle or simple navigation. The Rex' facility is located behind this main bridge, and with the integrated computer systems located in his quarters, he can even override entire facilities and systems far and wide across the great vessel, even with limited control over The Only, the passenger ship of the Dysonian race.    It is unknown where the vessels originated from, but it is thought that the Dysonian are a race capable of traversing across universes with their vessels, and had originated from a completely separate universe than the one in which the Tarris System was located in. The ships are both capable of cloaking for extended periods of time, and are known to hide within star clusters and nebulas when uncloaked, to prohibit any nearby vessels from detecting their energy signals, which are unfortunately large but can be diminished if certain systems are drained of unnecessary power. When residing in these nebulas and clusters, the two ships can be found alongside one another, usually though with The One slightly forward of The Only, in a protective stance in case the ships are discovered.   Both vessels were constructed with the appearance of their race in mind. Of the twenty-five propulsion engines built into the ship, two of these are built almost externally. They can be found on the starboard and port of the vessel, built inside cylindrical casings that mirror the appearance of the head of the Dysonian race, whose eyes are located on the side of their heads rather than centralized. These two primary engines are the main driving force of the vessels, with the rest devoted to impulse power and directional control during regular flight.    The Dysonian Rex is thought to be older than any of the other members of the crew or even the Dysonian race in general, although his exact age is unknown. He is believed to be connected to the heart of the life support systems, his body and mind preserved by the vessel as though acting as it's beating heart.
