The Hooker

The Hooker.
  Once named Djonge Kyehi.
This Anseryan was well known in his hometown as being an old and wise fisherman by the locals. He was well-to-do and one of the best fisher in the town.
The Hooker is thought to be a very old figure, and a very powerful one as well.
He stands at roughly seven to nine feet tall, and can be easily identified by the long and sharp, serrated metal hook that he carries in one wing and the long coil of fishing rope that he carries in the other. Not to mention his long and curved neck which many say was deformed in a terrible fishing accident, from which he died not much later on. His trademark look is this long, curved neck with his beak pointing straight towards the ground, and his golden, glossy eyes staring straight to each side, forever searching for the next victim to cross into their path. He walks with a steady limp but is known for his unnaturally fast movement especially in the dark, or during rainy or foggy weather which is thought to be his own environment.
He is said to have been a sailor with a grudge.
During his lifetime, it is said that he was the subject of unfortunate ridicule by those he knew for his extravagant fisherman's tales, for continually telling the locals that he was the best fisher around, and always challenging those around him to grab a better catch of fish than he did, often however exaggerating the truth very heavily to feel quite proud of himself even when he didn't catch anything, which were the days he would often boast that he had seen or caught the biggest fish he had ever seen in his lifelong fishing career.
Legend states that he was fishing one day when someone he didn't know had started to throw words with him about just how true his stories really were, and that if he was telling the truth, he would catch the biggest fish right then and there to prove just how special he really was. This same altercation was what led to the incident which made him famous. A small trout or other fish happened to come along, and he accidentally caught it and reeled it in. To the onlooker this was hilarious, but to Djonge it was the most embarrassing thing that had ever happened. Angered by the man's laughter, it is said that Djonge slaughtered him on the docks right there and used his remains to continue fishing, but it had been for naught.
To this day, he is said to wander the docks and ports of many famous cities, killing people for their meat and using them to fish for the greatest catch that will never come.
The Hooker is extremely fast, very tall and is easily angered. Should you encounter a tall shadow with a perfectly curved neck, it is best to turn around and run away as fast as you can to safety, because if you don't, The Hooker will surely be sitting on the dock with his fishing rod close by, and a small bucket full of meat, which is not thought to be from any worms or grubs. Even in modern times he is a horror tale for sailors and fishers, but his legend lives on to this day, and those wading in the waters, especially of Opron, must beware, for The Hooker could be just beyond the fog, sitting on a dock with his fishing pole and bucket.
If you hear the whistling of an old, familiar tune, it is already too late.
