All of these factors and more are the main attraction to a vast open-air market that can be found in the city of Home.

And in terms of city markets, it is indeed massive.

Simply known as The Grand Market or The Summer Sellout, this market makes it's home in a large open courtyard of the city that is typically used as a fairground or other open-air venue, including weddings and other festivals. The Grand Market is known to incorporate not just this open courtyard in the city but several miles' worth of other surrounding streets as well, with hundreds and sometimes even thousands of stalls of all shapes and sizes packed together to sell their wares and treasures to the eager public who turn out in the thousands to peruse the countless venues. Every possible artifact and good under the sun can be found here amongst the countless stalls of the Market.

Food, drinks, tapestries, treasures, gold, silver, jewelry, potions, brews, books, utensils, tools, crafts, supplies, silks, clothes, pets, care supplies, décor items, furnishings and countless other goods and items that can be sold and purchased all over the country. The Grand Market is usually organized by the city government around the same time every year in the early height of the summer season before the height of summer can really take over. From clocks to couture, to tools and trinkets made of fine metals and other materials, to apples and appliances used in the homes of the people who live in the city's towering Attic District, supplies and goods from all over the country and from those that surround them come into The Grand Market to find their new homes in the city. Staffs, cloaks, pins, daggers, bows and arrows, even spell books and other enchanted items also have their place in the Market, and there will always be someone looking for an oddity or two to take home to a cherished friend or family member. 

Musical instruments and the books that come with them have an area of their own as well, and the tools and materials used to make them are often not far behind either. 

The Market is never a sight or an attraction to be missed when visiting the grand capital city of Home, and one should always come by with a pouch full of gold and even a wagon or two to fill with the countless goods and other items that will surely attract their fancy as they wander the aisles of Opron's greatest open-air venue. It is thought that the average turnout for the week-long market comes around fifty-thousand throughout the week, which is roughly the same number as the city's entire population. Furthermore, the usual monetary value spent throughout the market on any given day can be upwards of a few million Lodarr in value, if not that much higher during the week.
