Rethium And The Realms: A History.

One of the greatest books of all time.

And one of the most complete.

Rethium And The Realms: A History was another book written by Vincent Brigne during his lifetime, and was also one of the books he wrote in collaboration with another well-known individual, the well-known Thomas Thydrok, who was a close friend of Brigne and a classmate from Prometheus Institute. 

It was this book that became their greatest work.

This book was the chief document that gave an in-depth look to not only the history of Rethium and the individuals who made that history happen, but it was also the document that gave the first in-depth look into the existence of dimensional rifts that bordered the edge of known space and time. Although the existence of these realms had been assumed and hypothesized heavily in recent years, it was known that there must have been some way to access them and to explore them safely. Thomas Thydrok, eager to investigate these matters for himself, turned his focus to their existence and documentation for several years of his life after he had graduated from Prometheus Institute, with the personal goal of finding, exploring and documenting every single one of them. Had he not come back with books full of papers and pages, he surely would have been seen as one of the most insane and mad men to have ever lived.

But his work was long and tedious, and never once did he give himself the rest that would surely allow those around him to cast ridicule and hatred his way. He spent years speaking with well-known names of space and universal studies as well as fields of magic to prove their existence, and through this work he became not just a household name, but one that was revered and practically worshipped the world over for the connection it made to the existence of planes of reality that had never been seen before. 

But he didn't keep it to himself. 

He shared the knowledge he gained with his friend Vincent Brigne, and they became two of the most accomplished scientists in the world with their knowledge, and together they set out on countless expeditions to discover the untold reaches of these great and magical realities.

All in all they discovered eleven, and each one was documented with extreme and thoughtful detail, as they refused to let a single piece go by without studying it and penning it first.

But the two men were also historians, and they went in depth with all the accomplished names of the field to gain every possible name, event and object from the many centuries that had passed to give the fullest and deepest look into the history of not just the world and the people who had lived in it, but the events that they had been part of and the influence they had created because of those events. But beyond the events of the world were the events of the universe and the cosmos, and they picked at every moment they could find to make sure that every star and every planet, and every speck of dust and gas in between had it's moment of history known. 

Thomas Thydrok is believed to have graduated with a bachelor's degree in History and Cultural Studies, with a minor or master's in Cosmology and a severe belief and knowledge of the Dimensional Theory, which explains the science and math behind the existence of the different realms and dimensions that he was credited with discovering not long after he graduated from Prometheus University. It was only after he first discovered them that the gates into those realms were thought to have been built, although many also believe that he 'discovered' them by finding a way in from an alternate source, and not the gates that could have existed predating his discovery.
