There is a drug called 'The X' out in the world. It's not like all of your other street drugs; it's not addictive, but taking a dose of X can give you powers beyond your wildest dreams. In the coastal city of Madison, Florida, criminal gangs use the X to give themselves super powers and fight for control of the streets with the local police department desperate in their attempts to stop them and the flow of the drug.   Little does either side know, that a band of violent misfits, led by the mysterious hitman known as Max Stryker, have plans not only to take control of the X trade, but of the city itself, and maybe even beyond.
