Alberesque System

The Alberesque system is a four-planet system with a narrow habitable zone approximately ten light years from Earth. It hosts a single habitable planet, Alberesque Three.

Geography

The Alberesque system consists of the following; 

• Alberesque: Main sequence star, comparable to Earth's Sun. 
• Alberesque One: Coreless rock world. No atmosphere or magnetic field. 
• Alberesque Two/Plumbum: Covered in oceans of liquid Lead, considered uninhabitable. 
• Alberesque Three/Momento: Earth-like planet with large Alberesque Pine forests covering most of its Northern continent. Home to the only colony in the system. 
• Alberesque Four: Gas giant, atmosphere consists mostly of bromine and iodine.  
• The Bloody Halo: An iron-rich asteroid belt located just beyond Alberesque Four. 

History

The Alberesque System was first detected by the Lunar Observatory's DRES telescope in 2106. The first automated probes entered the system in 2210.
The system was the site of the Alberesque Incident which started the First Interstellar War. Post-war, a colony was established on the northern continent of Alberesque Three. The city of St. Clair was established in honour of the colony ship destroyed in 2225.
