Equalizers are rigid, serious people with a strong commitment to their goals. They have a militant approach to life and do not let their emotions stand in the way of progress. Some might find an Equalizer’s lack of emotion off-putting, but those raised in Southern Dominion have a unique understanding of what it means to read between the lines and get important projects underway with the least interference possible. Equalizers reside mostly in Southern Dominion. Although home to them, outsiders would view it as a dreary military-industrial complex. Equalizers have an unquenchable drive to expand. This goes in direct opposition of the agendas of their neighbors to the north. After the civil war that divided them, the ideals of the two civilizations branched off in opposite directions.
Equalizers embrace controversial biomachines as a means of coming closer to their hope of surpassing human limitations. Peacekeepers and members of the northern states generally want nothing to do with the technology that Equalizers continue to embrace and develop. In fact, many have deemed it dehumanizing. Because of this difference in outlook, North and South Hemi are constantly at odds.
Equalizers are untrusting of outsiders and want to see the human race progress on their terms, which has easily made them the enemies of the north. They see northerners as frivolous and short-sighted, and although they share a planet, most southerners would rather die than seek refuge in their neon lights.
Overall, an Equalizer desires to succeed in pushing humanity to the height of its potential. They want to thrive, and do so by whatever means necessary. Evolution is a crucial endeavor to these serious-minded people, whether through natural means or man-made ones, such as the utilization of biomachines. An Equalizer will quickly dismiss anybody whose commitment to such expansion does not match their own, refusing to be distracted from their ultimate goal of progress.
