Basic Information

Anatomy

Humans possess a head with two eyes, two ears, a mouth and a nose. They have a growth of hair on their heads. Humans have two arms and legs. They are covered in skin the colour of which varies from very pale to very dark. Humans are of fairly average strength as far as mortal races go. Adult humans are normally between 5 - 6 feet in hight. Females of the species are somewhat smaller than the males.

The Species reproduces sexually.

Growth Rate & Stages

Humans are mostly defenseless and unable to care for themselves during their first few years of life. A great many humans die before the age of 10. Around this time humans become able to care for themselves. Humans reach maturity around the age of 18. Around this time they are normally expected to establish themselves independent of their parents. They also marry around this time. Humans which survive childhood can expect to live to around 70 years.

Ecology and Habitats

Humans do best in temperate climates. However, they are adaptable and can survive in nearly any environment so long as there is food and water available in sufficient quantity for life.

Water, food, and shelter is vital for human survival, in the order described.
