Personal history

Born in Driftwood to a pauper mother and a sailor father. His mother left him in custody of his father when he was 3, and the father took him in as a stowaway on his ship. After years of sailing his father lost a leg to an accident and could no longer care for himself, Michael at the young age of 10 joined up with The Bildge Rats to earn a living for himself and his father.
